Oink - iphone app. Rate things in the world around you and share them. E.g. Rate a beer you enjoyed at a micro-brewery so your friends can see what you liked when they go there. Oink builds a location based database of rated items in the world around you. Extremely well built fun app with good fb/twitter integration.
Hero Academy - iphone game. Turn based strategy game against a real opponent. Plays like a board game. Free to buy with in game purchases of different squads available. Can play a random opponent or friends (good facebook & twitter integration). I’m rubbish at it but I love playing anyway!
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - Coming out for the Xbox 360 on Friday. Played the demo and very excited for this new fantasy single player. Skyrim didn’t hold my interest for as long as I expected and Fable 3 had me playing to the end. KoA looks to be a cross between the two with amazing combat.
Downton Abbey - Watching season 2 on apple TV. Not as good as season 1 but still compulsive viewing.
The Shadow Isle - Finally finishing Katharine Kerr’s Deverry series. It’s been so long since I last read one of these the characters feel like something out of the dim and distant past.
